i've been doing some baking, and am loving it! i've been trying some new things, but here are just a couple...

the classic crepes (with fresh strawberries of course).

i had these on our honeymoon cruise and had to try to recreate them.

(just made these yesterday) they are good hot or room temp.

i got to go to l.a. to shoot a wedding with my aunt kayla. i've been doing photography since highschool. just for fun. so my kayla let me come along and see what a wedding is like from a photographers point of view. 

it was a fun trip. luke came with me, and did an endowment session in the temple while i took pics. i haven't gotten around to editing them yet, that's something i'm still learning to do. but i had a lot of fun! afterwards, luke and i hit up ikea. not to shop, just because we think it's a fun store!

and i got to see my cousin leah, whom i haven't seen in about 3 years!

san juan capistrano

about a week ago, luke and i took a bike ride, and of course, we picked one of the hottest days EVER. we went down to the san jaun capistrano mission (only about 5 miles away). this was my first time going, even though i've lived here all my life. it was very cool! we stayed for a couple hours, and then walked around san juan for a bit. it's such a cool place to just go and walk around.

the last bit of our bike ride was a slow incline. luke was fine, but the heat nearly killed me, and i was all dizzy when we finally reached our apt.

trip to utah

my brother graduated from BYU. awesome! and so we went with my family. we went to the graduation, out to eat, bowling, movies, exploring the campus and we hung out with my cousins on our way back, by stopping in cedar city. we went up the canyon and saw some beautiful scenery! such a fun trip!

we are living in mission viejo, ca... we got ourselves a sweet little apartment. it's a studio with a slidey door to make a one bedroom. it's not much, but it's the perfect size for us right now. we have the perfect location; right next to luke's work (the apple store), the stake center, and the college. we can walk almost everywhere...except for my work which is half an hour away....i'm the gas guzzler in the family.

wedding reception music video

so...our buddy mason took a lot of footage at our wedding, and even went around asking people to lip sync to a justin beiber song. this isn't the video that mason made....i ended up making another one...just because we had so much footage and i thought it would be fun! so this is just for fun.
